Today i am going to tell you how to prepare VIENNESE SPINACH ...
Ingredients:
- 500 gm spinach
- 1 litre boiling water
- 2 tsp butter
- 1 tsp flour
- milk as required
- 1/2 clove garlic(crushed)
- a little nutmeg(grated)
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- clean the spinach,remove the large stalks
- now put it into boiling water and cook for a short while and remove and sieve
- melt butter in a large frying pan and fry the flour in a low flame until it is golden
- add the seasonings
- now add the spinach and some milk and cook into a creamy vegetable puree
- serve hot over steamed rice
your viennese spinach is ready in just 6 steps!!!!...
