Today i am going to tell you how to prepare GOBI PAKODA ...
Ingredients:
- 1 cup diced and parboiled cauliflower1/2 cup chickpea flour or besan
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp ajwain or oregano seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
- a pinch of baking soda
- 1 onion slivered
- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- oil for frying
Preparation:
- mix red chilli powder,turmeric powder,ajwain and salt to the chickpea flour
- add 2 tsp hot oil and a pinch of baking soda to the above mixture
- add water to the mixture and mix well into a thick smooth batter
- dip the parboiled cauliflower individually in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden
- deep fry the onion slivers till golden
- fry the green chillies also for a few seconds
- sprinkle the fried onion and chillies over the fried cauliflower and spinkle chaat masala on top
- serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup
your gobi pakoda is ready in just 8 steps!!!!...
