Today i am going to tell you how to prepare PINEAPPLE RASAM ...
Ingredients:
For the rasam powder:
- 2 tsp whole black pepper
- 2 tsp jeera(cumin)
- 2 tsp dhania seeds
For the rasam:
- 1.5 cup water from cooked toor dal
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pineapple(semi-ripe)
Preparation:
- roast the black peppercorns,cumin seeds and dhania seeds
- grind them all separately
- boil the dal water in a heavy bottomed vessel and add the freshly ground masala powder and let it boil
- now add salt and just before removing the vessel from the fire add the chopped pineapple and let it boil for a few minutes
- garnish with coriander and serve immediately(rasam may get spoilt if kept out for a long time)
your pineapple rasam is ready in just 5 steps!!!!...
