Today i am going to tell you how to prepare MYSORE RASAM ...
Ingredients:
For the rasam powder:
- 2 tsp whole black pepper
- 2 tsp jeera(cumin)
- 2 tsp dhania seeds
- 1 tsp ghee
- 2 tsp whole black pepper

- 1 tsp ghee
For the rasam:
- 1.5 cups water from cooked toor dal
- 1-2 tsp freshly dessicated coconut
- 1-2 tomatoes
- a pinch hing
Preparation:
- keep the dal water aside
- roast the black peppercorns,cumin seeds and dhania seeds in a pan
- grind them all separately to get a fine powder
- bring the dal water to a boil and add the freshly groubded masala powder along with the coconut
- let it boil and now add salt
For the seasoning:
- heat ghee in a pan and add a few cumin seeds and a few curry leaves
- add this to rasam and serve hot
your mysore rasam is ready in just 7 steps!!!!...
