Today i am going to tell you how to prepare VIENNESE SPINACH ...


  1. 500 gm spinach
  2. 1 litre boiling water
  3. 2 tsp butter
  4. 1 tsp flour
  5. milk as required
  6. 1/2 clove garlic(crushed)
  7. a little nutmeg(grated)
  8. salt and pepper to taste


  1. clean the spinach,remove the large stalks
  2. now put it into boiling water and cook for a short while and remove and sieve
  3. melt butter in a large frying pan and fry the flour in a low flame until it is golden
  4. add the seasonings
  5. now add the spinach and some milk and cook into a creamy vegetable puree
  6. serve hot over steamed rice 

your viennese spinach is ready in just 6 steps!!!!...
