Today i am going to tell you how to prepare GOBI PAKODA ...


  1. 1 cup diced and parboiled cauliflower1/2 cup chickpea flour or besan
  2. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  3. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tsp ajwain or oregano seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
  7. a pinch of baking soda
  8. 1 onion slivered
  9. 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  10. oil for frying


  1. mix red chilli powder,turmeric powder,ajwain and salt to the chickpea flour
  2. add 2 tsp hot oil and a pinch of baking soda to the above mixture
  3. add water to the mixture and mix well into a thick smooth batter
  4. dip the parboiled cauliflower individually in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden
  5. deep fry the onion slivers till golden
  6. fry the green chillies also for a few seconds
  7. sprinkle the fried onion and chillies over the fried cauliflower and spinkle chaat masala on top
  8. serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup
your gobi pakoda is ready in just 8 steps!!!!...
