Today i am going to tell you how to prepare PHENORI ...


  1. maida 1/2 cup
  2. ghee 2 cups
  3. rice flour 1/4 cup
  4. sugar powder 1 cup
  5. elachi powder 2 tsp
  6. oil or ghee(for frying)
  7. a pinch of salt


  1. add 1/4 cup ghee to the rice flour and mix well and keep aside
  2. now add 2 big spoons of ghee to maida and add salt and mix them using fingers(let the mixing not be very fine)
  3. now add ice water o the above maida mixture and mix it to the texture of puri flour
  4. no make lemon sized balls using the above dough and roll them into a very thin possible circle
  5. now keep the rice flour-ghee mixture between two maida circles(the rice flour-ghee mixture should be sandwichd between the two maida circles) make another layer of the same type
  6. now roll the layered circle into a cylinder and then cut it into small pieces
  7. now roll the small pieces into little fat circles and fry them in oil or ghee
  8. fry until they become crisp and then remove them from the pan
  9. now sprinkle the sugar powder mixed with elachi powder on the phenories
  10. serve hot(can be savoured with badam milk also) and it can be stored in a air tight container
your phenori is ready in just 10 steps!!!!...
