Today i am going to tell you how to prepare LEMON RASAM ...

ನಿಂಬೆ ಸಾರು ,ಲಿಂಬೆ ಸಾರು,LEMON RASAM,South Indian dish


  1. 2 tsp whole black pepper
  2. 2 tsp jeera(cumin seeds)
  3. 2 tsp dhania seeds
  4. 1 tsp chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp coriander leaves
  6. 8 tsp lemon juice
  7. 2 tomatoes
  8. salt to taste


  1. heat two cups of water in a pan,crush all the tomatoes and toss them in
  2. grind all the dry ingredients and add to the rasam
  3. let the rasam boil for about six minutes on slow fire
  4. then finally add the coriander leaves
  5. heat some oil in a pan and add a tap of mustard seeds,curry leaves,urad dal,chana dal and asefoetida
  6. fry them till the dals turn golden brown
  7. now add the seasoning to the rasam
  8. before removing from fire add the lemon juice and turn off the fire immediately
your lemon rasam is ready in just 8 steps!!!!...
