Today i am going to tell you how to prepare PINEAPPLE RASAM ...


For the rasam powder:

  1. 2 tsp whole black pepper
  2. 2 tsp jeera(cumin)
  3. 2 tsp dhania seeds

For the rasam:

  1. 1.5 cup water from cooked toor dal
  2. 1/2 cup finely chopped pineapple(semi-ripe)


  1. roast the black peppercorns,cumin seeds and dhania seeds
  2. grind them all separately 
  3. boil the dal water in a heavy bottomed vessel and add the freshly ground masala powder and let it boil
  4. now add salt and just before removing the vessel from the fire add the chopped pineapple and let it boil for a few minutes
  5. garnish with coriander and serve immediately(rasam may get spoilt if kept out for a long time)
your pineapple rasam is ready in just 5 steps!!!!...
